Favicon.ico

Thank you for uploading the favicon, but I have two questions...

• How is it licensed (or where did it come from)?
• Why does it show at [1] but not on File:Favicon.ico (or in my location bar)?

I stole it out of the microsoft jscript program thingy, its the default icon for .js files, so its probably copyrighted to microsoft. feel free to replace it. just figured it would be a nice favicon for this wiki.

as for why its doesnt always show on the locationbar, there is a bug with caching (both server and browser) and url paths related to favicons that is currently being worked on.

as for why it doesnt display on the Image: page, not all image types will generate a thumbnail for viewing on the Image: page, .ico is one of them. there are plans to extend mediawiki to show more, but it is a very low priority project --Uberfuzzy 01:29, 4 October 2008 (UTC)
